Customer Tips

1.) Keep a file of all companies that are doing work for you with contact names and phone numbers.

2.) Remember to have your mail, phone and cable transferred to your temporary residence. Please do not have the electric or water turned/shut off if it is in operation after your loss. These two items are necessary to perform the work to be completed by Service 1st.

3.) Complete an inventory list and take pictures of total loss contents left on site, unless Service 1st is chosen to do so. This will prove to be a time-saver as you will avoid having to transcribe them later from notepads.

4.) List all food and perishable items and dispose of promptly (!) as they will spoil quickly, unless Service 1st is chosen to inventory and dispose of these items.

5.) As soon as possible, make a list of possessions that you will anticipate needing for your temporary residence. Please provide that list to your Service 1st representative so that we may promptly clean, ozone and return those items to you in a timely manner. With proper notification, Service 1st will make every effort to have these items ready for you to pick up at our facility or we will deliver these items to your temporary place of residence. Please allow time for cleaning, ozoning and deodorization.
