As a company, we are always striving to give back to the community whenever possible. Below is a list of a few of the organizations we support.
The Kids Trust: The Kids Trust was created by Gary L. Houck, Jr. “To help young children of abuse grow up in a safe, happy and exciting environment.” He had the mission statement and board of directors established prior to his death, and gave much thought to these selections and purpose.
The Four Diamonds: Inspiring, empowering and activating youth and young adults in the fight to conquer childhood cancer. Everything Four Diamonds does is For the Kids!
The Underground Skatepark: The Skatepark started as a dream to build a skatepark where kids from all over could come hang out weekly and hear the word of God. In early 2003, that dream became a reality as the South Mountain Skatepark was born. The Skatepark is dedicated to impacting the world while engaging youth and empowering and equipping leadership through action sports outreach, evangelism, and discipleship.
The Rotary Club of Colonial Park: Rotary is an International organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peach in the world.
Donald Edwards Jr. Memorial Fund: The Donald J Edwards Memorial Fund was established to continue Don’s efforts in prevention, education, and research of melanoma.
Fire Companies of Central PA: Service1st has made it a priority to assist Fire Companies with rehab efforts by donating bottled water. Thousands of cases of bottled water are donated each year to support the Volunteer Organizations.
The Hottest Of Disaster Recovery Charity: The Hottest of Disaster Recovery Charity, a 501c3 Charity founded by Jaime Novinger-Toigo in 2006, has remained focused on its mission to raise awareness for the Volunteer Fire Companies that serve Central PA. The Charity remains strong supporting its mission by providing an annual fundraiser to support the fire companies and through sponsorships of 1st Responder training programs.
